What is Work Permit (LMIA Based)? 

A work permit based on LMIA is a legal document issued by the Canadian government that allows the worker to stay temporarily and do the specified job.  This work permit is only issued if the employer demonstrates that the skilled worker he hired for the job is highly qualified and that, before hiring this person, efforts have been made to hire permanent residents or citizens.

3. You would need to meet the program's requirements, including demonstrating that you will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay and that you have sufficient ties to your home country.
4. You must satisfy the Canadian immigration admissibility criteria, which include factors such as good health, security clearance, and no criminal record.

When should I apply for the work permit?

As soon as a Canadian employer has made you a legitimate job offer and has received a favorable LMIA, you should apply for a work permit based on that offer.
